Some folks have asked for shaku measuring devices of one form or another.

Anyone else want/need shaku sticks? These are yard sticks in shaku rather
than feet or meters. Bamboo, 3 shaku long, 1/100 shaku increments,
prominent markings at 0.5, 1.0, 1.5, 2.0 and 2.5 shaku, easy to read if you
can multiply or divide by 10. All shakuhachi makers I know in Japan use
these as their primary measuring tool. They can be split (sawn) lengthwise
to get two sticks.

Retractable metal tape measures in shaku and meters (both on the same tape)
are also available. Various lengths up to 12 shaku.

Cost will vary depending upon the exchange rate and delivery method.
