I don't know anything about homeopathic medicine or BBQ bat wing remedies
(although as a proponent of "cowboy zen", BBQ anything sounds tasty) but
both seem to be based on the ancient Tibetan principle of "turning poison
into medicine"... ;*)

Personally I've always bathed in mugwort for poison oak (which IS closely
related to poison sumac) wonder if it would work for urushi eruptions... the
Japanese you know have quite a mugwort festival every year... cup of mugwort
tea anyone?

Gentlemen:

My apologies please to the holistic remedy group; my bar-b-qued bat wing
remedy was merely a failed attempt at humor. There is utterly no question
but that holistic alternatives frequently provide a superior alternative to
"modern medicine".

There does not happen to be any volume of toxic material which can be
consumed through the digestive tract which will provide an advance antidote
to dermal eruption from the same toxin. However, again, holistic
alternatives for the care of the infused area will indeed frequently be of
great benefit.

I apologize, gentlemen.

Gene
