Hi Stav,

Well, I know of three teachers in London. There is my
teacher Michael Coxall (mc9@soas.ac.uk) who teaches
shakuhachi at the School of Oriental and African
Studies in Russell Square. There is also Clive Bell -
clive.bell@tesco.net who is based in Tottenham, North
London. And, thirdly, there is Richard Stagg in NW
London (his phone number used to be 0208-200 9593 by I
don't know if this is still current). The teacher I
am able to recommend through personal experience is
Michael, who is excellent and a very nice person too.

Good luck to your friend finding a teacher,
Happy playing,
Stephanie
