NEW MUSIC FOR PIANO AND SHAKUHACHI: SPRING TOUR, 2000

..."soft percussive and shimmering harplike timbres play off the breathy
bamboo flute textures." Derk Richardson, Bay Area Guardian

"traditional western practices are often subtly or violently
decentered.....The duets on this recording clearly show the importance of
listening as a crucial part of developing ones own sound. ....The
brilliant negotiation of timbral difference which plays itself out in their
shakuhachi/piano duets" George Lewis
