Essential Honkyoko

Dear Friends,

I would like to build a music library of essential Honkyoku. I've got
recordings of a few pieces here and there, but really don't know which
ones fall into that catagory.

Would someone care to publish a list of essential Honkyoko and recommend
some recordings of the same? (I know this might be a lot of work, but I
suspect that the shak community would really appreciate the effort. I
certainly would!)
