Assuming this can be easily colored, what method of coating would you =
advise? Do you pour the stuff down the shak and sorta roll it around or =
do you use some type of a long handled brush? As you've probably figured =
out by now.. i'm a newbie to the mailing list and just trying to find =
help (anywhere!) on how to make shakuhachi. There's just not much out =
there.

I guess it's been a while since I painted cars (ca. 1982).
What about polyurethene? The stuff I put on my hardwood floors=20
would certainly be suitable for a shak bore. All you'd need is=20
to color it somehow. And it would only take about three of four
coats to build up 3/16 of finish if you didn't thin it.
