Greetings All,
I'm happy to see so much amusement flowing from this site's letters of late.
The issue of Zen/not Zen always seems to prick peoples interest and even
ire. This would suggest that ires need to be aired and there is nothing
like a good airing. Breathe in/breathe out (through a tube of bamboo if
possible). Amidst all this however, I would like to ask all of you
contributing in the written sense to kindly submit only your input and not
the input of countless other people before you (I know this is a repeated
request, but I'm hoping that this time it is heeded). Aside from this, it
would be so kind of all of you not to submit html entries when they actually
aren't required. That is, sending simple text entries would be thoughtful.
I also get and read the digest of all submissions and it is very tiresome/at
times confusing to have to go through not only the same submissions several
times, but a complex and sometimes seemingly endless string of
meaninglessness in the form of html code in order to reach the stranded
nuggets of new input in a thread, because some didn't realize that even in
the reading of these letters, there are those who do not read things in the
way that they themselves might. There are limited possibilities here, so
please try to respect all of them.
possibly in gassho and possibly in an act of futility
jeff
