[Shaku] Hardwood Shakuhachis??

Hi Everyone,

I recently saw some beautiful hardwood shakuhachis
made by David Brown. Can anyone tell me anything about
their sound quality and durability. In case it's
relevant I just play for my own enjoyment so I'm not
looking for a professional level instrument. Thank
