I need help from any shakuhachi scholars out there. This is concerning the
player Jinbo Masanosuke. From what I know, he was a komuso monk from
Renpo-ken, who taught Urayama Ginzan who taught Onishi Baisen who taught
Watazumido, and was famous for playing only "Jinbo Sanya" (aka Oshu Saji,
San-an, Shunza). Does anyone have anymore information on why he played only
this piece?
