Some attend festivals to learn and grow, some attend to be seen.

Some blow shakuhachi because it calls them, some because it is "cool, new,
difficult, something no one else does".

Some revere the time, skill, and downright experience that define a true
teacher willing to pass these things on, some see teachers as an imposition on
their time, having "other, better" things to do.

Some are Internatinally know because they had a good teacher, some are
totally unknown because they cannot be taught.

Some do not attend festivals because of attitude, money not being an issue.
Some attend festivals because of attitude, money being a strong issue.

Very interesting.

things are just as they are.
