I'm glad that I said what I said and got this
discussion going. Because people have to know these
things and they have to be acknowledged. If I feel a
certain way, there is a reason for this....

I want to say Perry Yung is awesome.....

I want to say Ronnie Seldon is awesome at playing
shakuhachi but I question alot about him.... I wish he
would get on a excersice/diet plan because it would be
nice to have him around awhile to play his
shakuhachi.... I dont mean this in a mean way... I
also wish that he didnt charge 60 dollars a lesson.
Isnt there exceptions for poor people that have heart
and soul and wanna learn real bad???? Ive had no
teacher for 4 years and still play everyday and even
make my own flutes and give them away....this is
dedication.... I think I deserve a good teacher but
if none show up then I will be a good teacher.......

I wanna say if anyone is in Japan call this man he is
awesome - more awesome than any other shakuhachi
player Ive heard of

Hirobe, Chikutei
229 5-19-3 Hashimoto,
Saganihara - shi, Kanagawa
tel: 042-773-6113

He has played shakuhachi since he was 5 and he is now
a retired tokyo university proffesor. He taught me
shakuhachi for 2 months for free then I had to come
back to NY State. I wanted to pay him but he said no
- pay me with your dedication to the flute. He let me
touch/play his 30,000 dollar flute. He plays live
concerts with his 80 year old uncle. his 80 year old
uncle is his teacher.

Screw politics, screw money -heart and soul is all you
have when you die people..........
